Overview
Century Falls is a 1993 British television miniseries written by Russell T Davies. Teenager Tess Hunter moves with her mother to a strange, isolated village where a dark, supernatural event from 40 years prior haunts the community, threatening her mother's unborn baby.

Episode 1
It is the first night in Century Falls for Tess and her Mother, Elisabeth. Meanwhile, across the village at the Naismith manor house, twins Ben and Carey Naismith sneak off into the night. At the waterfall, Ben stares at the water – a fire begins to dance across the surface…
Episode 2
The villagers, concerned that Richard Naismith is bringing people into Century Falls, decide to call a gathering in the Church Hall. Tess, Ben and Carey hide inside, and watch on as the psychic ritual begins. The villager’s minds merge into one, and this powerful new consciousness confirms that Elisabeth is indeed pregnant.
Episode 3
Tess goes to the shop, and demands “Two Mars Bars, one first class stamp, and one explanation – fast”. She tells the sisters that if they can convince her of the danger to her mother’s unborn child, then perhaps she can convince her mother to leave. Esme takes Tess to the waterfall, and tells her what happened in the Temple those many years ago.
Episode 4
Julia reveals that she has been guiding Richard Naismith’s plans, and persuades Miss. Cooper that Century could restore to her what she misses the most – the children of the village.
Episode 5
Carey complains that she is useless, but Tess realises that she can ‘earth’ Ben’s wildcard nature. They rush to the waterfall, and Carey succeeds in taking Ben’s hand, causing the fire to fade, and Ben to sink to the ground.
Episode 6
The villagers march to the temple ruins to reincarnate Century. When they arrive, Julia asks Ben to reshape the past, and concentrating hard Ben manages to rebuild the temple. Julia restores Josiah Naismith’s voice, and he begins to lead the ceremony. Is it all too late? Will Century be reborn? Will the temple be destroyed, and countless more people die, again?…
