Overview
Slávnostné otvorenie pohotovosti v Chicago Med je prerušené veľkým vlakovým nešťastím, ktoré hneď na úvod zamestnancov nemocnice zatlačí na hranicu ich možností. V osudnom vlaku cestovala aj nová posila pohotovosti Dr. Connor Rhodes, ktorý sa hneď po nešťastí dostane do nemocnice a už vo svoj prvý deň zažije poriadny pracovný záprah. Nie všetci sú však z jeho prítomnosti nadšení. Obzvlášť Dr. Will Halstead mu nemôže prísť na meno, a potrvá ešte nejaký čas, než si k sebe títo dvaja nájdu cestu.
